Joseph Stewart Jarvis age 77, of Berea, died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Harborside Health Care in Louisville. He was a native of Adena, Ohio. He worked for Printing Service in Dayton, Ohio from 1960-1975, American Greetings in Dyersburg, Tennessee from 1975-1983 and from 1983-1996 in Corbin, Kentucky where he retired as manager of the lithography department. Mr. Jarvis is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Arcuri Jarvis of Berea; his daughter, Suzi Jarvis of Berea; his son, Kip Joseph (Patricia) Jarvis of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth, Allison Nicole and Joseph Simmons Jarvis all of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; his brother, James (Kay) Jarvis of Gettysburg, Pa.; his sister Mary Lou (Lloyd) Anderson of Centerville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Dan (Shirley) Jarvis, and Raymond Jarvis; his sister, Kay (Dino) Bello; his parents, Joseph and Pauline Louise Parrish Jarvis. A wake was be held in the friendship hall of St. Clare Catholic Church. Davis & Powell Funeral Home made the arrangements.
